WELCOME, I’m Nina Strauss

i’m here for gentle change - in our lives & the world.

How do we change our lives without blowing it up in the process?

How do we challenge the status quo without burning bridges?

How do we create revolution without adding to the conflict?

For me, being a ‘Relaxed Rebel’ is about holding the essential balance of both fierce courage and loving connection, for both are needed to create healthy, sustainable change in our lives and the world.

Whether you’re an activist who wants to love hard without burning out; a parent who wants to raise your children in more conscious ways; or a ‘social misfit who longs to be your True Self without alienating your roots, culture and loved ones, I’d love to support you.

this work explores change on 3 interwoven levels:

key explorations

conscious living

Working with consciousness means understanding how our awareness shapes every aspect of our lives - from daily choices to larger patterns. By developing deeper consciousness, we begin to see how our thoughts, feelings, and actions are influenced by family history, cultural conditioning, and collective patterns. This awareness becomes a powerful tool for transformation, allowing us to make more intentional choices and create positive change in our lives and relationships. Through conscious living, we can break free from automatic responses and create new possibilities for ourselves and future generations.

sustainable change

Sustainable change happens when we understand both the visible and invisible forces shaping our lives. Rather than forcing change through willpower alone, we can work with the natural rhythms of transformation, addressing both internal patterns and external circumstances. This honors our connections while creating space for growth, allowing us to evolve without unnecessary disruption. By understanding the dynamics of change, we can navigate transitions with greater wisdom and create lasting change that benefits ourselves and our communities.

SELF-DIRECTED EDUCATION

Self-directed education recognizes that we each have an innate drive to learn and grow when given the right conditions. This approach trusts in each individual's unique learning journey, understanding that meaningful education cannot be standardized or forced. By supporting natural curiosity and intrinsic motivation, self-directed education allows learners to develop not just knowledge and skills, but also self-awareness, creativity, and the ability to navigate their own path in life.

ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION

Alternative education approaches like Waldorf and Montessori offer vital perspectives on human development. These methods understand that education is about developing the whole person - head, heart, and hands. They provide rich alternatives to conventional schooling by honoring different learning styles, developmental stages, and the importance of creativity and practical skills. These approaches demonstrate how education can nurture not just academic abilities but also emotional intelligence, social skills, and authentic self-expression.

true well-being

True well-being emerges from alignment between our inner and outer lives. It requires understanding of how personal, familial, and cultural patterns affect our health and happiness. Well-being isn't just about individual practices but about creating healthy relationships and supportive environments. This holistic approach considers physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of life, recognizing that sustainable well-being comes from addressing root causes rather than just managing symptoms.
